Salvage of the barge Bison

At an early hour on Saturday 28th of October Swedish barge Bison was drifting in the Sea of Bothnia in storm force winds. Alfons Håkans Ltd agreed Lloyds Open Form 2000 with the owners of barge. The salvage team departed from Pori, tug “Harald” found the drifting barge about 12 nautical miles from the Finnish coastline. Tug “Neptun” was also mobilised from Rauma. At 2235 the barge was moored in Rauma, where the barge was redelivered to the owners. For further questions you can contact Captain Toni Stening
