Unhappily a forgot his name, but I got a mail from Sweden with this text: Probably M/S GRIPEN, home port Karlstad, Ahlmark Lines. Built in Falkenberg 1964. It seems to be in “Bötö leden” outside Gothenburg, west bound.

Thanks Torsten for your photo. It looks she was rebuilt for roll-on/roll-off traffic. I noted that after her sale to Sweden she was renamed Ölandsund and after lengthening her name was too lengthened with two ss. So I must concluded she never trader with one s.

Eksund/Ölandsund II

The Dutch coaster Jaba, 1937, was sold in 1958 to Sweden as Ölandsund II, lengthened in 1963 and renamed Ölandssund II. Her final end as Eksund is known. My question is: are there photo's as Ölands(s)und II?

The Swedish tanker Thell was built in 1941 by De Groot & v. Vliet, Slikkerveer, Holland. Her first name was Jungfernsand, Germany, 1945 Swedish Hegg, 1972 Thell and in 1972 Finnish Miki. I traced her until 1994 and then?
