Can anyone confirm that the Dutch coaster Paris, chartered by Svea, is lying at the Packhuskajen in Göteborg?

@Imar, thanks for your quick reply. I think now that it must be in Paris, this kind of low-trade coasters sailed for Svea from Göteborg top Paris.

It is Packhuskajen, Göteborg. However, those houses are long ago broken down. From one of them Always came an intensive smell of roasted coffee.

It must have been very soon after the Paris was built in 1954. I have memories from 1958 at that place but there were none of those houses at that time. I could not either remember the model of the cranes but looking at other photos from the Packhuskajen they look the same. So sometime between 1954 and 1958 is the photo taken I think. The cranes were all the way at the Packhuskajen till the new Opera house at Lilla Bommen if I remember correct.

Bolaget Malmsten & Bergvall hade sin verksamhet i dessa byggnader och gav ut en minnesbok 1967 till 100 årsjubileet
där visas fotografier den vänstra delen av byggnaden vid Paris förskepp härjades av brand 1963 och revs 1967 fanns fort-
farande dom övriga byggnaderna kvar med kranar enl.foto från 1967.

Det verkar vara så att jag har glömt hur det var. Det är ju länge sedan. Jag var på en båt 1958 som hade kajplats nr 8 vid Packhuskajen, alldeles vid Tullhuset. Eftersom det är nästan 60 år sedan så har jag tydligen glömt hur det såg ut där i närheten. Jag kommer inte ihåg dessa byggnader. Om de låg vid Packhuskajen så bör det väl ha varit öster om Tullhuset en bit. Avståndet till vattnet ser inte så långt ut.
